What TechGently is
TechGently is a subscription service that provides plain-English answers to tech questions via email. We answer questions about consumer devices, software, apps, and the internet.
What's included
- Unlimited tech questions submitted through your member portal
- Written answers delivered to your email within a few hours
- Helpful video links when relevant
- Email support 7 days a week
What's not included
- Remote access to your device
- In-person or phone support
- Hardware repairs
- Questions requiring access to your accounts or passwords (we will never ask for these)
Subscription and billing
TechGently costs $29/month after a 7-day free trial. Your credit card is charged automatically each month. You can cancel anytime โ cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Free trial
Your 7-day free trial begins when you provide your payment details. You won't be charged until the trial ends. Cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged anything.
Cancellation
Cancel anytime from your member portal or by emailing [email protected]. No cancellation fees, no questions asked.
Acceptable use
Please use TechGently for genuine personal tech questions. Don't submit questions intended to test, probe, or abuse the service.
Accuracy
We do our best to provide accurate, helpful answers, but technology changes quickly. TechGently answers are for informational purposes โ we're not responsible for outcomes resulting from following our advice.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. We'll notify active subscribers by email if there are material changes.
